WHO AM I?

I have been graduated in Computer Engineering.
As a Ph.D., I worked on Shared-Memory Shared-Bus architectures, Coherence Protocol and Multithreading. I get my PhD from the University of Pisa.
My main academic interests are Computer Architecture, Industrial Informatics, Embedded Systems, Computer System Usability.
I'm interested on Programming and Runtime Environments, OS support for embedded and control systems with related standard (CNC, NURBS, 61131, 61499).
In January 2004 I started my service as Assistant Professor in The Dept. of Information Engineering of the University of Pisa.

WHAT AM I DOING?

I'm working on high performance CMP architectures for Commercial and Embedded workloads.
I'm working on memory hierarchy design for future generation, high performance cores
I'm working on ROS support, programming and runtime environment for embedded and control systems
I’m working on Industrial Informatics (NURBS, CNC, 61131, 61499)
I teach Informatics to the Management Engineering Degree (Laurea Triennale)
I teach Industrial Informatics (Architecture of Embedded Systems) to the Computer Engineering Degree (Laurea Magistralis)
