WHO AM I?

  • I have been graduated in Computer Engineering.
  • As a Ph.D., I worked on Shared-Memory Shared-Bus architectures, Coherence Protocol and Multithreading. I get my PhD from the University of Pisa.
  • My main academic interests are Computer Architecture, Industrial Informatics, Embedded Systems, Computer System Usability. 
  • I'm interested on Programming and Runtime Environments, OS support for embedded and control systems with related standard (CNC, NURBS, 61131, 61499).

WHAT AM I DOING?

  • I'm working on high performance CMP architectures for Commercial and Embedded workloads (Cloud and Mining Applications, IoT and WSN).
  • I'm working on memory hierarchy design for future generation, high performance cores
  • I’m working on Industrial Informatics (Integration Technologies for SCADA and MES, CRM and IoT)
  • I teach Informatics to the Management Engineering Degree (Laurea Triennale)
  • I teach in the class of Industrial Applications in the Embedded Computing Systems Degree (Laurea Magistralis)
